Cornhole Tournament
The cornhole tournament will be hosted by the Spruce Pine Kiwanis Club on Saturday, July 20 from 10 AM to 4PM across the fiver from downtown in the Riverside Park.
As you toss your cornhole bags, you can enjoy a variety of barbecue to eat, drinks to refresh you, music to entertain you, and kids’ activities. All proceeds will go to the Spruce Pine Kiwanis and Rotary clubs.
The tournament will be a 64-team NCAA bracket-style tournament, with the parings determined by hat draw. We have cash prizes and trophies for first and second place and the play is smack dab in the middle of all the action on Lower Street.
This is a family friendly event and we encourage families to sign up and enjoy the day . . . all while making Spruce Pine a better place to live!
The team entry fee for the tournament on Saturday the 20th is $30, but we will have game boards set up on Friday July 19th from 4pm - 10pm for everyone — families, couples, or just people passing by — to stop and try their hand at cornhole.
. . . for just $5 for 30 minutes of play.
