Music is an age-old tradition in the hills of the Southern Appalachians. We can’t get enough of that speedy banjo pickin’ and those high, lonesome vocals! If you love bluegrass, ole-time mountain music, country, and Americana, make plans to join us for the 6th annual Spruce Pine BBQ & Bluegrass Festival on July 14 & 15, 2017 at the Riverside Park across the river from Downtown Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

Great local & regional musicians - Including, McKinney Gap, Jonah Riddle and Carolina Express, and The Clinfield Mountain Boys. And championship mountain clogging teams The Barnburners, Cole Mountain Cloggers, and the Mountaineer Cloggers. Musicians are still being booked and lineup is subject to change.

Check the featured performers page for the stage schedule and the artists who will perform in 2017.

Again this year there will be approximately 100 premier reserved seats priced at $50 for both days of the festival.  Your ticket will include a souvenir bag chair with the festival name and logo. Buy your tickets early for the reserved seating - these seats won't last long.

Others - Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs for the performances.
